Greater Kingsport Shows Support for UWGK

The United Way of Greater Kingsport (UWGK) teamed up with the Kingsport Chamber of Commerce and co-sponsor Seaver's Bakery to launch its 2014-2015 Community Campaign Kickoff yesterday morning at the Chamber. Approximately 150 people attended, including Chamber members, UWGK member agencies, and those who GIVE, ADVOCATE, and VOLUNTEER with the United Way. UWGK Excited to Stuff the Bus!

United Way of Greater Kingsport and Target announce their first “Stuff the Bus” project, which occurs July 29th through August 4th at Target located at 2626 E Stone Drive in Kingsport, TN. During this week, Target customers will have the opportunity to buy new school supplies and hygiene products for local children and place them in bins located within the store. The decorative bins came from a collaborative art project between the UWGK, the Kingsport Boys and Girls Club, Girls Inc., and the Girls Scouts.
