United Way of Greater Kingsport Celebrates $2.62 Million Raised for 2020 Campaign!

On Thursday, November 19, 2020, United Way of Greater Kingsport (UWGK) celebrated their 2020 campaign with a press announcement livestreamed from the Kingsport Farmers' Market Pavilion. Board President, Keith Parker, Campaign Chair, Brent Mullins, and Campaign Vice-Chair, Chad Austin recognized top companies, thanked key volunteers, and unveiled the results: a total of $2,620,091.69 raised to-date, or 87% of their $3 million goal.

And the fight is not over! Individuals or companies interested in making a donation can do so on our website or text “uwaykpt” to 404-03.

UWGK’s 2020 campaign theme is “United We’re Strong,” focusing on the Greater Kingsport community’s collective power to fight for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in our community. The dollars raised by the UWGK stay in the Greater Kingsport community to improve the lives of over 1400 individuals on any given day.  The many community champions who give, advocate, and volunteer with the United Way of Greater Kingsport fight together to make the life of every person in our community better.
