Whether your memories of grade-school spelling bees are great or terrible, the Literacy Council of Kingsport is offering another shot at spelling glory.

Kingsport Chamber Spotlight showcases United Way of Greater Kingsport in an informative segment discussing the theme, goals and varying aspects of this year's campaign with Director of Resource Development and Communications, Mandi Cambre, and Campaign Chair, Bill Trapp. 

KINGSPORT, TENNESSEE – The United Way of Greater Kingsport (UWGK) has raised $3.18 million to date, 88% of its $3.6 million campaign goal.

BLOUNTVILLE — Volunteering has never been easier.

The United Way of Bristol TN/VA and the United Way of Greater Kingsport have partnered with Eastman Credit Union to launch online volunteer platforms in their communities. These online portals will allow community members to easily connect with quality volunteer opportunities in their communities through their desktop computers, mobile phones, or tablets.

KINGSPORT — Hurricanes Harvey and Irma gave back-to-back beatings to Texas, Florida and the Southeastern United States in recent weeks, causing millions of dollars in property damage and displacing thousands of residents. The storms have claimed more than 100 lives.
