Finance & Administration Director
Bernard Bryant is a CPA serving as Director of Finance and Administration for United Way of Greater Kingsport. His responsibilities include accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, systems, payroll and oversight of facilities. A Bristol native, he has resided most of his life in the Johnson City area. His most recent experience was as CFO for Taylor Brands, LLC, a wholesale knife distributor, during a period of 50% sales growth and eventual asset sale to Smith and Wesson. His previous experience includes more than ten years of banking mortgage compliance, internal audit and as assistant controller. He serves as a deacon, Sunday School teacher and an Assisted Living Ministry Director at his church. He and his wife, Kathy, have twin daughters, two sons-in-law, and two grandchildren.
