Regional Kick-off

2010 United Way Regional Kick-off will be hosted by United Way of Bristol, TN-VA and will feature the heartwarming message of Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, the unlikely adoptive parents of Michael Oher, a homeless teenager who, with the love and support of the Tuohy's wound up becoming a professional football player.
The kick-off is slated for Friday, August 20, 2010 1:00 p.m. at Viking Hall and will jump-start the 2010-2011 fundraising campaigns for United Way of Greater Kingsport, United Ways of Bristol TN-VA, Washington Co., TN and Russell and Washington Counties, VA. |

A consummate taskmaster, Pat Summitt has kept her elite program in the winner's circle for almost four decades, producing a mind-boggling record of 1,005-193 (.839). During her tenure, the Lady Vols have won eight NCAA titles, as well as 27 Southeastern Conference tournament and regular season championships.
Coach Summitt has a 100 percent graduation rate for all Lady Vols who have completed their eligibility at Tennessee. |
