What is Community Impact?

Community impact is how we address local health and human service needs. Community Impact identifies and tackles underlying causes to create lasting change, while dealing with the issues.

Community Impact is not just funding services for clients, Community Impact is about creating change that improves people's lives — whether they receive services from a United Way funded program or not.

Community Impact is not just about influencing health and human services. Community Impact is about influencing whatever sectors, systems, networks, groups, or environments can play a role in improving lives.
